Curriculum and Pedagogy
Early years foundation stage
Howard Gardner claims that early childhood is a remarkable time for brain development and that a child’s brain is 90% of its adult size by the time they are three years old.
The EYFS establishes guidelines for your child’s care, education, and development from birth to age five.
At Neenos School, we ensure the safety of your child and adhere to a set of welfare principles in the EYFS framework that encourages an integrated approach to early learning and care. We provide a set of shared goals and commitments for all professionals to follow to provide all children with high-quality early education.
Multiple Intelligence
To better assist kids in realizing their potential, many educators turn to Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
By accommodating multiple forms of intelligence, the Multiple Intelligence approach helps us teach better. This approach recognizes that there is no “one size fits all” strategy and that children have varying learning demands based on their various bits of intelligence.
Discovering and honing each child’s unique skills and intelligence is a key component of our Multiple Intelligence framework. And our educators support a child’s intellectual development once they have identified the different skills or talents the child possesses.
Inquiry Based Learning
Inquiry-based learning experiences help children develop thinking skills in a critical way with a sense of making their own connections by what they learned. The accomplishment children face after working on their own curiosity and getting a deeper knowledge of the topics they want to learn is unforgettable.
Life Skills
The traditional educational model present in many schools features a basic curriculum. In most schools, there is little emphasis on life skills education.
Life skills like washing hands properly, eating politely, and other aspects of maintaining personal hygiene constitute this method of instruction. When life skills are taught in the classroom, kids develop into people with a strong sense of self. Their life skills give them better-suited abilities to meet and overcome obstacles their way.
At Neenos, life skill education promotes positive behavior, builds self-esteem, and promotes cooperation and communication in your kids.
